The 44th staging of the JAAA/Puma Fuller-Anderson Development Meet held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the G.C. Foster College, and featured an array of local talents at the junior and senior levels.
Senior Men’s 60m Final
Kishane Thompson of MVP posted a season’s best of 6.52, to win the senior men’s 60m final, while Odaine McPherson of SprinTec was second in a personal best of 6.53 and Bryan Levell was third in a personal best of 6.54. The field was rounded out by Gary Card of UTech in a season’s best of 6.60, Nishion Ebanks of MVP in 6.61, Rohan Watson of MVP in 6.63, Martino Williams of Mico in 6.66w and Rasheed Asad Foster in 6.67.
Senior Women’ 60m Final
MVP secured the top three placings in the senior women’s 60m final. Tia Clayton posted a personal best of 7.02 for the win, while her team-mates Jonielle Smith and Natasha Morrison were second and third respectively, in times of 7.06PB and 7.21. The field was rounded out by the Trinbagonian Shaniqua Bascombe of Uptimum in a personal best of 7.22, Anthonique Strachan of MVP in a season’s best of 7.23, Thieanna Lee Terrelonge of Uptimum in a personal best of 7.25, Krystal Sloley of UTech in a season’s best of 7.31 and the Barbadian Kishawna Niles of UTech in a season’s best of 7.33.
Class 1 Boys’ 400m Hurdles (93.4cm)
Running out of lane 3, Micah St. Michael Willis of Calabar won the class 1 boys’ 400m hurdles in a personal best of 54.46, while Kingsley Hanson of Denbigh High posted a personal best of 54.90, from lane 5, for second, and from lane 4, Javaughn Rhoden of William Knibb posted a personal best of 56.25 for third. The top eight was rounded out by Rushaun Ramsay of St. Jago High in a personal best of 59.21, Shakeem Hemmings of Charlemont High in a personal best of 1:01.09, Amir Perry of William Knibb in a personal best of 1:01.25, Reynaldo Scott of William Knibb in a personal best of 1:06.14 and Shacarl Medley of Denbigh in a personal best of 1:06.48.
Class 2 Boys’ 400m Hurdles (83.8cm)
Running out of lane 4, Raneil Burke of St. Jago High won the boys’ 400m hurdles in a personal best of 54.60, while his team-mate Ajani Williams, running out of lane 6, was second in a personal best of 55.31 and Jordan McBean of Calabar, running out of lane 3, was third in a personal best of 57.91.The top field was rounded out by Jaydon Williams of York Castle in a personal best of 58.96, Teean Thelwell of Petersfield High in a personal best of 1:00.51 and Nilmar Martin of St. Andrew Technical High in a personal best of 1:03.05.
Class 1 Girls 400m Hurdles Open (76.2cm)
Running out of lane 3, Kellyann Carr of Edwin Allen won the women’s 400m hurdles final in a season’s best of 1:03.51, while Sheneca Harris of Port Antonio High posted a personal best of 1:04.81 for second (lane 6) and Ashley Wynter of Holmwood Technical posted 1:05.82 for third out of lane 1. The top eight was rounded out by Kristen Herbert of Holmwood Technical High in 1:05.93, Tashona Brown of Alphansus Davis in 1:08.08, Alisha Smith of Holmwood Technical High in a personal best of 1:08.37, Jadeish Y. Jadau Blake of Bethlehem Moravian College won the senior men’s 800m final in a season’s best of 1:55.69, while Akani Slater of G. C. Foster College was second in a personal best of 1:56.59 and Aldaine Brown of Bethlehem Moravian College was third in a personal best of 2:00.32. The top eight was rounded out by Shaque Shand of G.C. Class 1 Boys’ 800m Final
Lerone Stewart of Holmwood Technical High won the class 1 boys’ 800m in a personal best of 1:57.40, while his team-mate Tiandre Downer was second in a season’s best of 1:58.27 and Alejandro Palmer of Kingston College was third in a personal best of 1:58.54. Class 2 Boys’ 800m Final
Luke Plummer of Sydney Pagon won the class 2 boys’ 800m final in a personal best of 1:57.22, while Markland Williams of Denbigh High was second in a personal best of 1:58.83 and Dwayne Sharpe of Calabar was third in a personal best of 1:58.98. Kamoy Leonard of Clarendon College won the class 3 boys’ 800m final in a personal best of 2:08.76, while his team-mate Zadane Lewis was second in a personal best of 2:08.97 and Jason Johnson of Munro College was third in a personal best of 2:09.04. Class 1 Girls’ 800m Final
Holmwood Technical High completed the quinella in the class 1 girls’ 800m final through Florence Nafamba and Jovi Rose, both of whom posted times of 2:15.84 and 2:15.85, respectively, while Horecia Love of Edwin Allen was third in a personal best of 2:16.94.
