01 April 2012	Auburn’s Kai Selvon Has Sights Set on London 5 By “My wish is to make the Olympic team for Trinidad and I am ready to do so,” declared Kai Selvon, the talented sprinter for the Auburn University Tigers. Kai’s (pronounced Kie) goals are very realistic as she has just completed a successful indoor campaign in which she captured the Southeastern Conference (SEC) women’s 60m indoor title and was placed 7th in the NCAA 60m finals in 7.29 seconds. 28 October 2012	Kemoy Campbell Earns SEC Cross Country Honors 5 By Twenty-one year old Kemoy Campbell was named to the 2012 First-Team All SEC Men’s Cross Country team be virtue of his 4th place finished at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Cross Country Championship held at the Percy Warner Park in Nashville Tennessee on Friday October 26. Campbell, a native of Jamaica completing for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, completed the 8K course in 23 minutes, 55.38 seconds. Samuels, the former Jamaica College standout has shown marked improvement in his first year at South Plains College highlighted by him setting the Jamaican national senior pole vault record mark of 5.31m.
