16 May 2012	Grenada’s Kirani James set to make season debut in Daegu 6 By [caption id="attachment_208" align="alignleft" width="166" caption="Kirani James Photo courtesy of UAB Athletics"][/caption] The reigning men’s 400m world champion Grenada’s Kirani James is set to make his season debut today at the IAAF World Challenge in Daegu, South Korea. James, who has a lifetime best 44.36 seconds in the 400m, appears to be in great shape. In his last race on April 28 at the Penn Relays, James ran a blistering 43.8 split as a member of the Grenadian 4x4 relay team. Based on that performance, James should easily take this event.
